All Welcome
scylla's brief discussion with urias on the topic of missing siblings reignited the urge to locate her sister -- dead or alive. blackfeather was obsolete, a traveller had told her. checking to see for herself may have been wise but she had no inclination to waste energy she did not have. the severed toe was healing well but reduced the amount of larger game she was able to catch, thus, left her running on less than her ever-growing frame was accustomed to. returning to a steady gait, the girl began a journey south-west, in the direction of the scent of what she assumed was a pack (or at least a heavily marked area) that carried on the wind.

she knows little of what she intends to say when she arrives besides the question of wether or not hela dwelled within the territory. if she did not, the girl would take her leave. fealty to yet another group of indivudals was perhaps the only thing she was not looking for.

with her talking points in order, the dark-haired girl drew up upon what was evidently the borders of a pack and released a short call for any within who might oblige her company. it had been quite long since laying eyes upon her sister that scylla is unsure if she could even accurately describe the girl she is looking for -- beyond her name.

nevertheless, cracking her jaw open to let out relaxed yawn did she silently wait.

The recent events had left her tired, bitter, and jaded. She had spent more than a few sunsets staring out over the horizon from the many ridges and ledges of their home. She wasn't even sure what she was looking for - or at - if anything. The Ostrega just wished the turmoil that so often plagued the Spear and their family would leave. Perhaps with the exile and seeming disappearance of their two most troublesome brothers that wish could be granted? She snorted.

Unlikely.

As if the universe were testing her, an unknown howl suddenly sounded from the borders. Lyra turned sullenly in its direction with a scowl. She wasn't too keen on greeting the stranger, but nor she did want Hydra to beat her to the punch and accept the unknown entity without her first being able to examine them. The wolves left in Moonspear were all strong, capable, loyal; she didn't want a foreigner coming in to ruin that.

So with practiced steps, the woman descended the mountain and traveled to the borders with her tail arched high over her back in a display of dominance that almost rivaled the queens'. She spotted the stranger quickly, even with her dark black-and-tan coat blending into the surrounding forestry. She was slim, though not overly so, and had a lankiness to her limbs that suggested youth. Lyra's gaze hardened as she slowed to a trot and approached the other female, a wordless question hanging in the air. Yes?

a woman approaches; a dark wraith slauntering proudly forth. the potent aura of utter dominance that emits from the other is strong enough to lead scylla to believe that she is in the company of the alpha. intending to cause no strife, the girl feels her ears fall flat against her skull and tail curl slightly inwards; natural instinct in response to such a grandiose show of authority. if she were a regent herself, she would do the same -- scylla considers wordlessly to herself.

perhaps one day she would.

the girl wastes no time in making the purpose of her presence known, vacant eyes flicking towards the other. i'm searching for a girl named hela melonii. she supposes there is litte risk in mentioning the last name so long as it is not associated with herself. do you know of her or if she lives within this territory? truthfully, scylla couldn't enivision her sister living on a rock. they were not mountian wolves. there was something rather unappealing about feeling only rock beneath her feet but to each their own, she supposed.

She is appeased slightly by the show of submission by the other. The folding of her ears perk Lyra's own up, but she watches with an emotionless, stern gaze. Her eyes meet the girls' for but a split second — dark navy clashing with ice-like cobalt. There's a certain familiarity to her ensnaring gaze, one Lyra can't quite place but she questions it all the same. The stony look, the cut of her jaw, it all screamed you know her, but the Ostrega simply can't recall where or how.

She continues to stare down at the stranger as she shrinks, before explaining the reason for why she was Moonspear's borders. Straight to the point — another tick in Lyra's good books. However, the name rings no bells, jogs no memory, and so she gives her answer almost instantly, "no. There's no one by that name here." Before cocking her head to one side slightly. "Is she a friend of yours?"

it is somewhat of a disapointment to learn the woman knows nothing of whom scylla spoke of, but the stoic yearling does not let it show. it was entirely possible that the other was simply bluffing for whatever reason and nevertheless, scylla would not relent in her questioning so quickly.

not a friend. a sister. she replies, after giving a moments pause in consideration of the fact. the melonii name bore no ill reaction -- leading the girl to believe this pack had no negative, view-changing opinions on its members that might have illicited a stronger reaction and dailed back her search.

her head tilts to the side slightly, delicately pressing forth with her inquiry. she lived in blackfeather woods, before it disbanded? i was told their ranks had scattered. perhaps some ended up here. she gives a glance to the mountian in the background; towering and brazen as if the earthly embodiment of its supposed leader. perhaps additional information would aid in pointing her on the path that led to hela. inevitably, there had to be others who knew even the slightest morsel of a detail which she could then piece together with others; a puzzle that revealed the location of her twin in its completion.

if not, scylla would take her leave as abruptly as she arrived.
