Célnes breathed in the fresh scent of pine. Her paws treading over the needles that fell, and her nose simply smelling the berries and mushrooms that were hidden all around. There was even plants she could vaguely recognize as medical treatments, only due to recieving them at previous titmes. The place was a fruitful forest- and perhaps a heaven toward doctors alike.

The Déorwine's, despite recently joining a Pack, tended to stray away from the area. She knew her siblings had different excuses, and her own was 'settling' into the land. Perhaps it was more of scouting, especially so to one that felt so familiar. However, it was still dutifully noted, this area contained no Apostles.

It was not a place the High Elk had settled.

Perhaps he blessed along the way, for it's bountiful fruit, shrooms and herbs, but it wasn't the outcome she desired.

Friede decided to explore the surrounding area and left @Kendrick behind to do so. She wandered far enough to be out of earshot but not so far that she couldn’t be found. Moments after her departure, she noticed another familiar scent on the wind which marked her destination.

Oh, wow, Friede called, Is that you, girl? — What was her name again? — Célnes, it’s so good to see you! She walked closer to her former packmate’s side, then reached out a paw to pat her shoulder.

Célnes felt her face frozen for a moment, with a slight turning out of the corner of her eye. Upon seeing the familarity, she threw upon the beautiful face of a smile, "It is nice to see you made it, Friede." It was probably the first of the Déorwine's she had seen besides her own siblings. There was slight regret and bitterness within her heart, that continued to be perfectly masked with a bright look.

"The High Elk has blessed us for survival," she said, giving the usual monlogue between packmates.

Friede nodded her head in agreement, then lifted her gaze to add: Yeah, we’re like super blessed. Praise to the High Elk, yeah. There were other scents on Célnes’s pelt; most went unrecognized, aside from Fré...Fréobearn? And of course, So, Cenric is here, too? It could have just been a hunch but she doubted that any scent trails from before the fire would still be present.

I’m asking because like, I found Kendrick, and it would be super cool to reunite all of us or whatever. Friede lifted a brow while awaiting a response. Anyway, what have you been up to? ‘Exploring’ and stuff, right? She didn’t really care but prolonged silence could get pretty awkward.

"You found Kendrick?" Célnes raised her eyes in surprise, "I had found Cenric and Freo, but we were missing Ken and have been looking for him," she explained. She can already see her little sister in pure joy, after she was the most worried. Cenric had wandered off to further lands to see if he stretched out, and the sylph, has been gradually scouting for signs.

This was good news- her little, liar brother had returned.

Their little family was all together again, yay! And all because of Friede’s detective work. She didn’t really care about anyone from their group except for Cenric, but Célnes probably knew that already. That’s so cute, that you guys are like, looking for each other. Cenric will probably be so happy that I found cute little Kenny! Friede lifted a paw to her mouth and scrunched her snout to resemble a bunny, this to only half-mock the lying beast.

Anyway, Where are you guys staying? Célnes smelled like a lot of things, which normally meant that there was a pack nearby. Friede liked that idea; packs meant food and she was getting pretty hungry.

Célnes continued with her perfect smile as while Friede did her tidbit, "we are hoping to find more of us." While their main focus was between siblings, there was another hope that the rest of Déorwine's were alive. If the High Elk had Friede, come out of the fire, then she had an expectation far more survived the flames.

"we are currently with Whitebark Stream," the elken woman said, "can you tell Kendrick where we are? I'm going to go back to tell Freo and Cenric about both of your survival."

Célnes did not think to bring Friede along, as adrenaline was surging through. It felt more important to inform about their whereabouts, "I'll come back."

The name ‘Whitebark Stream’ didn’t mean anything to Friede. It would probably be forgotten before she even made it back to Kendrick but she still nodded to confirm that she would try remembering, at least. 

Célnes said that she would be back, presumably with both of her siblings, so Friede was happy to leave there conversation to be continued.
