Hideaway Strath Sleeping with the sound on

”Not here. My daughter must sleep.”

Nyra was the best. She understood. She knew the trouble in her mind, she knew what would take her mind off those things. She knew what she needed for she was a warrior too. War followed her and when she stopped and took a stance, so did War. She did not mirror her but took a firm stance, looking and waiting.

The silence around them was too much. It felt eerie, a call from the past to claim her mind, clawing at the door to get in and take its place within her sanity. She hated it, hated everything about it and while she listened to the silence she did not move.

Then she burst forward. There was no great speed to her attack nor agility, she just abrupted the silence while bursting forward to Nyra and the silence within is still not broken. It continues within her and she needs to break it and make it stop.

She bites. Speed and agility not on her side and the eerie sound of silence ringing in her ears she growls lowly almost as if it just to herself. She knows it was a weak hit, but there was nothing to it anymore. She gets a grip of Nyra’s shoulder but just as soon as she bites, she pulls back again. The silence is almost unbearable, but she does not speak.

War wasn’t about a political game after all and she waited for Nyra to attack her hard.
