All Welcome
Forward-dated for around the 12th/13th. Siblings and family welcome! Tags for ref.

The puffball woke slowly to the smell of milk all around him, as well as a sharp oderous note, stemming from a puddle seeping in to the fur of his belly. Whether it was the smell or the sensation that roused Arius didn't really matter — only that he was awake now, and began to stretch his little legs and peep in protest.

One paw -- a hind -- kicked at the unseen shape of @Makatza. Another hooked over the crown of @Ensio's head, touching soft toes against a set of wet nostrils. Arius gave a squawk of surprise when he felt them both, not realizing yet that he had control over these strange appendages. As he tried to withdraw them and bundle himself up, he lost his balance.

The suddenness of his rolling brought a diatribe of babble from his lips, until he smucked the den floor with the back of his little head, and -- blink! blink! squint! -- his little peepers cracked open to reveal a set of blue-black eyes, which stunned him to silence. They weren't very good eyes yet -- everything was blurry and gray, or dark, or even darker, and there was a haze across it all; but still, Arius was transfixed by this new thing, and ceased his fussing.

arius is a very unreliable narrator. he twists events / things said to him to fit his own narrative. it is, in no shape or form personal, and not a reflection of me OOCly.

OOC: This can be just a cameo or a read only, since you are going on absence. <3

At just two weeks old, Ensio and his littermates had grown considerably since their debut into the world. Nestled comfortably beside his darker sister, the last born found himself on the bottom of the pile, with his brother's paw atop his head. He had been perfectly content, suckling away to drink his fill of his mothers milk. It was a scent he knew well. And loved.

Now, another creeped through his nostrils. This one was more tangy. Sharp. Scrunching his brow quizzically, he attempted to scoot back, to investigate and explore. That was when his tiny limbs flailed out, what would one day be massive paws colliding with the bodily structures of his siblings. He had only ever known them as nearby soft fuzzies. This new form of solidity surprised him. Confused yet fascinated all at once, Ensio had no sense of his bearings so early in his life. Suddenly he found Arius was no longer near, having tumbled away. But Makatza was still close. Instinctively, he shuffled towards her, gingerly trying his weight on unsteady paws. When he bumped into her, coming to a dead stop, he blinked blearily. Curious of this new obstacle in his way.
