The humidity of the southern territories was worse than the northerner would have estimated. Issorartuyok wore his thick winter coat like a badge of pride through his snow-ridden homeland. In the new wilderness, it was a cloak of dreadful warmth that forced his tongue to loll from the side of his mouth.
The meeting with the child had gone interestingly. There was a pack upon the mountain there in the north, one called Ursus. Issorartuyok would save this information for a later time. He even considered requesting to join, but the great brute was not yet prepared to swear his allegiance to an unknown.
There was a smell of snow on the air. Issorartuyok believed that the glacier must have been near to the forest. The northerner prowled to the north, careful to skirt around the mountain claim.
