All Welcome
Forward dated a couple of days, 4/11, rainy.

Cerne travelled slowly along the coast, searching for seashells and sea glass. They would make good additions to his bone reading kit. Head bowed against freezing rain, Cerne gave a soft huff as he plucked several pretty shells from the sand, cleaned them in the saltwater, then placed them gingerly into his hareskin sack. Soon, he would have enough materials to begin his bone readings.

Lazuline briskly padded along the beach.

Her eyes were not set upon anything. No thoughts bounced about in her head. She simply walked forward and listened to the rain.

Rarely did she leave the island these days, for she stayed at @Viridian’s bedside.

While @Cerulean did not, she’d think bitterly. What an accomplished scoutsman their sister had become. The strange isle wolves must adore her so much. Why-! She’d even got a promotion of sorts some say.

Lazuline, well, she did not care for it. She’d told herself as much. Yet each time she thinks of it her gut twists into itself.

Now her mind was not so empty.

She would not be able to silence it, but perhaps the company of another could. Stranger the man before her may be, but she’d rather speak with him than think of her sister a moment longer.

Hey you! She stopped a ways away from him. Her eyes squinted quizzically at his pouch. What on earth is that?

A stranger approached as Cerne was filling his pouch. It held several hare bones, the shells, and a large, obsidian orb; his pouch was now very heavy. He would need to get a new one, and soon. He offered the woman a small smile, then gestured with a paw to the various items.

"These are my divination tools. I will use the orb to scry, and the bones and shells are for bone readings." Cerne looked down to the pouch once more. It was not complete yet — it held far too few items, but he supposed he had enough for a simple reading, so he asked, "Would you care for a reading?"
