All Welcome
Your character discovers a body of a previously played character who died in-game. (+1 additional thread point) -> with permission of Mercury, finding Maegi's remains.

The ghostlike figure first appeared to Kausiut in a moonlit meadow. She had almost missed it, were it not for the sorrowful aura surrounding it and that split of a second, when their gazes had met.

Curious, Kau had drawn closer, but somehow the apparition managed to keep the same distance between them. Without actually moving. Another careful step taken by the crippled she-wolf towards it and it did the same thing again.

A more cautious wolf would have left then, but the wayward village girl, who walked this life, tethered only lightly to this particular Earth, had determination to find out, what it was and what it wanted. So she followed it in the nearby dark woods.

In late autumn it is not surprising to no longer hear the birdsongs, but the stillness of this land had an almost sinister quality. Hair along Kausiut's spine stood up - a disonance between the survival instinct and the focused mind that wanted to figure out the mystery.

What she registered, however, was the sense that the spectral being and the forest were woven of the same fabric. Inseparable from one another. On her path Kausiut passed many memorable and important landmarks, but her impaired sight did not see them. Her gaze was on the ghost only.

Then - all of a sudden, it stopped, turned and faced her. A disfigured face and body. A reflection of Kausiut herself and at the same time very different. Its cold burning blue gaze pierced her through the heart and soul. For a moment there Kausiut heard echoes of long spoken words and chants, there were images before her eyes that she had never seen before.

A long, mournful howl rose up to the dark starry sky and the ghost crumbled to dust in front of Kausiut's surprised gaze. There, where the old spirit had stood, lied a pile of yellowish-white bones. With the empty eye sockets of the skull staring right at her and the fleshless jaws jeering at the lonely straggler here.
