Pan looked again when Wildfire had nosed the quartzite into view, since she hadn't really been able to locate it before. "It's beautiful," she said with a soft smile. When Wildfire asked about the stone she'd found, Pan quickly nodded and said, "Of course! It's yours." She had never intended to take it for herself, since she was helping Wildfire scavenge, so it didn't even feel like she was giving anything away.

When Wildfire offered something in exchange, Pan wanted to say she didn't need to, but before she knew it Wildfire dove into the den and picked up a skull of some sort of other. Pan opened her mouth to refuse the gift, but then she didn't want to be rude, and she wasn't sure what to say, or not to say. "I... Are you sure?" she asked with a frown. "I mean, I... I was looking for you, so if you want to just keep everything, that's - that'd be okay too." But if she would insist, Pan would take the gift, because refusing a gift would be as rude as taking more than you deserved.

Pan seemed hesitant about accepting the gift. Wildfire smiled and shook her head at him, quick to reassure, "I have a couple more. My Aunt Magpie brings 'em to me. You should take it." She used a little paw to nudge it closer to him, then backed up a step and took a seat beside the entrance to the badger's den. It felt good, sharing her trade like this and giving him a gift to thank him for his help and time spent.

The youngster's ears suddenly pricked when a low howl went up into the air. It was Peregrine, calling for her from close by. Wildfire shook her head lightly and stood. "Finally," she commented to Pan, although her lips twitched into a smile. "Thanks, Pan. I gotta go. I'll see ya later." The little Naturalist made a point to bump her smudged muzzle beneath the adult's chin, then slipped away to finally meet up with her parents as originally planned.

"Thank you, it's very pretty," Pantaleimon said with a soft smile while she looked at the bunny skull. She didn't really have anywhere to put it, but Pan supposed that meant it was time to find a treasure den of her own someplace or another.

A howl resounded through the air. For a moment, Pan's heart skipped a beat and she hoped it was for her, but soon enough she realised it was for Wildfire. Of course it was for Wildfire. "Take care," Pantaleimon said with a soft smile and she watched as Wildfire vanished from sight. She was such an energetic child, Pan thought to herself as she watched her go off.

Once Wildfire had departed, Pan picked up her bunny skull gift and trotted off to find an abandoned badger den of her own to put it in.
