Akuti was now fully accustomed to life in Easthollow. Her den no longer smelled stale and abandoned, but rather strongly of herbs and the like. She knew her way to and fro, being able to weave in and out of the territory as she pleased. She'd met almost all of the wolves who shared this home, though for each new one she became acquainted with, it seemed another was preparing to join their ranks. Akuti had found one scent particularly intriguing, however, and it was that of a child. The morning after discovering such a thing (she didn't want to wake the poor child with her own shenanigans), she set out on a mission, determined to meet this new packmate.

*RAPIDLY SCOOTS IN* Time for sunny's cuteness

The grey youth was crouched down, staring at a bug that was crawling on the ground. It was unusually warm outside, and the bees and other insects seemed to be waking up. The thing hopped up in the air startling Sunny and causing him to growl with surprise and snap his jaws at it, ending up with the creature in his mouth. He crunched down and then began to spit, the taste being totally unpleasant and vomit inducing.

Upon hearing the sound of a child's troubles in the distance, Akuti decided to investigate, trotting in the direction of the strange sounds. Once there, she could pick out Sunny's small form, heaving to his side. She sucked in her teeth and approached with a strong furrow about her brow. With her snout, she began to lift him back to a proper position and coo into the child's ear. Are you alright, sweetheart? she asked, wondering what exactly she'd walked into.

Sunny was surprised by the woman's presence, and gave a startled gasp only to relax when he smelled the familiar Easthollow scent on her fur. Ever since the issue with that horrible woman on the inside of the border of Easthollow sunny had been wary of anyone he didnt know. "I ate a bug. Never gonna do it again" he responded with a wrinkle of his muzzle. He looked up at the dark form and gave a lopsided grin "I'm sunny, and you are?" he asked politely.

Akuti sucked in her teeth and gave a kind, maternal laugh, as if to scold him with a kind sort of tone. We all have to learn. Sadly, I had to learn the hard way, too. She thought back to her own reckless childhood and the shenanigans she often got into with her sisters, though even that thought was soon clouded with an immense sorrow so she pushed it off to the side. I'm Akuti, silly! I met you with your sister not too long ago. Akuti couldn't blame the boy for forgetting, as it seemed faces were always appearing and disappearing from within their borders.

Sunny stared blankly at the black female for a few seconds before blinking once and giving a sheepish smile "oh right! Sorry, I kinda forget alot of stuff" he apologized with a quick wag of his tail. walking over to her he bowed down in front of her playfully, his rear end wiggling in the air behin him "Wanna play?" he asked hopefully.

I would like that, Akuti said, matching Sunny's playful posture. She gave a light growl, though it was nothing threatening in nature. She took one of her paws and gave a slight boop! to the boy's nose, before turning and running to hide behind a tree, though the dark tones in her pelt did nothing to aide her, making her an easy sight.

Sunny wriggled his nose and sneezed, the sudden boop on the nose causing him to sneeze from surprise. With a bright bubbleof laughter he took off after her, easily finding her though because he was kind he pretended not to be able to find her "Kuti, where are you?" he called out, giving her a nickname that was only her name shortened by one letter.


With a faux gasp of realization he bounded over to her from behind and tugged her tail gently "Found ya!" he chirped and then ran off, hiding in a small hole at the base of a tree, squeezing himself all the way back so that his eyes were barely visible.

Akuti sighed with mock disappointment as Sunny picked out her hiding spot. She watched the boy dart off, though she was unsure as to where exactly he'd hidden himself. She was puzzled for a moment as she wandered around the vicinity, calling out to him — Sunny, where are you buddy? — though her eyes caught the dim hint of his own. She acted as though she was still lost for a moment before peering into the hole where he had hidden himself. I foooound you!

As he hid he tried to hide his laughter by biting gently at his own paw, uttering a small eep! as Akuti looked straight at him. Still she seemed to not know where he was until suddenly her face filled the whole, and he shrieked before rolling onto his back and waving his paws in the air laughing loudly with glee. He booped her on the nose gently before dashing between her legs and coming out behind her, his tiny teeth nipping at her tail though he was careful not to hurt her.


He had learned about his teeth when he was rough housing with Daddy gray one day, and he left tiny tooth marks in his father's paw that welled up with small droplets of blood. He had felt bad that day, and was ever so careful with his teeth since. He bounced away a few feet before turning to look at her, his tail lifted and curled above his back as he bowed down so far that his chin touched the ground "Chase?" he suggested, now filled with a bountiful amount of energy.

Akuti zipped around in an effort to keep up with Sunny's movements, though he seemed to be going a mile a minute! She laughed and imitated his playful posture, her own tail giving a playful wag. Chase? the boy had asked. She responded with a nod of her head and a repetition of his own proposition. Chase!

With a Shrill yip of excitement he ran forward, a mischieovus bout of boyish laughter leaving his maw as he began to chase her. probably not what she was expecting but he was always one for tricks and twists. Once he neared her, he swerved and ran behind her nipping at her heels to get her to run ahead of him.
