Aviana laid at the entrance of her den. She had finally finished digging it out, and now resided in it nightly. She had seen where someone, mostly likely @Shale, had started digging for her. It was funny how much her life had changed since that day. She had a crush on Shale, which was torn apart by the knowledge that he had mated Pema. She had an encounter with another female, @Furi, that she thought about often, and who she hoped didn't hate her. She had gone looking for her brother, Sebastian, but was unable to find him. And, with @Grayday's blessing, she had mated with a stranger, and hoped to produce some offspring from the encounter.
She had been feeling rather nauseous the past few days, and while she knew that was a symptom of pregnancy, it was much too soon to know if that was the actual reason for her feeling sick. For all she knew, she ate something bad. She had been feeling tired, too, and had been dozing by her den most of the morning. Her mind felt like socializing, but her body said it wasn't moving for a little while yet.

this looked lonely!
it was only recently that she'd returned with aditya, the itch in her paws stilled and her yearning to be back among her pack strong. she found settling back in was not the easiest of tasks. while she loved the open wonder of travel, it was a lifestyle even she could not sustain for long. she chanced upon aviana without meaning too, and yet could not quite leave the woman's scent behind when she found it to be fresh. it'd been a while since she'd spoken, and Dawn was rather found of the young woman. it didn't take her long to find her outside what she presumed to be her den, entirely unaware of the agreement she'd reached with her father.
chuffing a greeting, a smile flitted to her muzzle a moment as she neared, pausing a short distance away. "Aviana!" the greeting left her lips easily, and her eyes flickered over the woman's body as she sensed something seemed just the slightest off with the woman.

Thank you for joining!
At the sound of her name, her ears perk and her head lifted. Her tail thumped in the hall of her den as she spotted her friend and packmate. Dawn, she greeted with a smile. Aviana righted herself into a sitting position, happy to have some company, even if she wasn't feeling great.
How are you doing? she asked. She and Dawn hadn't spoken at length since the move. Aviana had quite a few other things that occupied her mind.

she scanned the woman once more, finding nothing to be concerning, and let the matter of her being ever so different, drop. if she felt like revealing what had changed, she would, and the hunter was in no mood to be nosy, not when she had other things on her mind.
"well," she replied, tail wafting once behind her as she echoed, "and you?" her offer for a hunt could wait, she found, and was content to recline back on her own haunches as soon as she felt her presence was not unwanted.

She was glad to hear Dawn was doing well. She wished she could say the same. She shrugged one shoulder. I'm alright, she said, though there wasn't much conviction in her voice. I just don't much feel well, she confessed. Maybe the depression over not knowing what happen to Sebastian was really getting to her. Feeling a wave of nausea, she shifted her position in an effort to relieve it. It didn't help, but it was worth a shot.

"have you seen pema" faded and died on her lips as she realized that aviana was very much capable of taking care of herself, and instead she lapsed into silence a moment before speaking again. "do you need anything? her gaze scanned up and down the woman briefly, the uncomfortable way she shifted.

Aviana gave Dawn a grateful smile. No, that's alright. I'm sure it will pass, she hoped anyways. How about some company, though? she asked, knowing she hadn't spent much time with her pack mates the past couple of weeks. How are things going? she asked. How are you? She assumed things were as they always were.
she inclined her head quickly at the woman's question, tail moving about herself as if some unconscious signal that she would stay. "the same," she offered with a small grin, before realizing that that must sound utterly boring. "the coast was - huge, and salty. there's something amazing about the sea, but I'm glad to be back." she was not meant for wide stretches of sand and things that lurked beneath dark waters; her home was beneath boughs, rolling hills and craggy cliffs.
she shared all that stood out from their journey south, falling into easy conversation with the older woman. the spoke until the sun began its descent, and the huntress took her leave, intent on adding to the cache that suddenly seemed fragile.
