Looking for @Amalia when you're available!

Cinar had decided to take on Towhee's idea. His nerves aside, he didn't see any reason that he wouldn't be a good mentor for the nestlings. He was intelligent, committed to the caldera, and certainly had the patience to deal with rowdy children.

Aprroaching the den, he let out a bark to announce his arrival. While he was here, it might not be a bad idea to discuss the whole advisor situation with Amalia either.. Towhee had said she would be the one to talk to.

Waiting a moment before sticking his head in, he turned his head in search of Amalia or the puppies. Anyone home?

Amalia shifted and spoke softly. im here.

It was not often that Amalia had a quiet moment. Usually her children were running around like crazy
But for once they had fallen asleep. Very rare nap usually they did not. But they had played hard.

She dipped her head. How can I help you Cinar?

At her response Cinar slipped inside, being sure to keep his voice low in light of the sleeping children. I'm sorry I haven't brought a gift this time. He hoped she would understand. Cinar had kept earlier promises to fill caches and bring meals for her family, so he would be able to make it up to her when he brought dinner tomorrow.

Towhee suggested to me on a patrol that I might make a good mentor for the nestlings, he offered in explanation, glancing to the pair of pups curled up with one another. I think it's a lovely idea.. but I wanted to speak to you about it. I wouldn't try and intrude like that without asking you. Not every parent wanted wolves outside the family helping to teach and raise pups.

Amalia smiled and shook her head with a small chuckle. No need to apologize you are doing fine. And we don't need a gift everytime. Well the kids may think they do, but they do not.

Amalia blinked surprised. She wasn't sure how she felt about Towhee making decisions like that without even asking her. And it took her by surprise the complex feelings it arose within her. But she also could see the merit of it and she nodded.

I see no problem with this. They could learn a lot.

Cinar can't help returning with a subtle chuckle of his own. He could remember being a real sucker for gifts when he was a pup, too. He wasn't quite as spoiled as his sisters, but his mother always made sure to bring him something if she left.

I'm glad you agree. He responds, tail swishing next to him as he sits. Your pack has become family to me, I want to contribute anywhere I can. He truly had been trying to live up to that. Some days it felt like he never stopped moving.

How old are they now? He asks, glancing to the pups once more. They've already grown so much since we last spoke.

Amalia had always loved gifts herself. But she too had been spoiled, more so by her brother. Who to this day still brought her pretty trinkets from time to time, because he knew she'd like them. And her children were always bringing in something that was a gift, (Even if it was a piece of dirt or a rock or sometimes a really stinky dead thing).

We aim to treat all our members like family. Truly. I am glad that you feel this way.

She hummed softly thinking. When did she have them. Mid Summer, and it was the beginning of fall. About 4 months old.

Cinar's brows raised at her response. Four months? They're growing quite big then. He smiled, his tail returning to it's swish. I'm sure they'll grow strong too.

He stood now, pressing a friendly nudge to her shoulder before backing up to the entrance. I'll leave you, so they don't wake up. He decided.

I hope you might consider me as an advisor someday, Amalia. He decides now is the time to be bold. The pack is growing quickly. I want to be someone you and Killdeer can trust, Towhee too. With a final respectful nod, he made his exit.
