Jade Fern Grove Young is just a title

Peony had been stalking this forest for a while. Pretty sure she had been wandering in circles, she looked around. Have I seen that tree before? She was lost for sure. Usually she could get around fairly well, even without the ability to smell. Peony was born like this, she had gotten used to it all. Except for the looks. What was a wolf who couldn't smell? Nothing to some.

Not smelling meant she wasn't the best hunter or tracker. Fishing was her best source of food, that and good plants and herbs. Peony had always been fascinated with herbs, medicines, illnesses. She'd taken her time as a young pup and learned as much as possible. One could say she had become an expert for her young age.

Only about a month over a year, Peony hadn't had time to become a master at her developing skill... yet. But she planned to, always did. So when her stomach started to rumble she glanced around, managing to find some travelin herbs around a tall cedar tree. She gobbled the traveling herbs and turned. It was getting dark she wouldn't get anywhere right now, she knew. The cedar tree was a perfect spot to stop anyway. Her excuse being that a fresh pair of eyes would be better for getting out, Peony curled up at the base of the cedar and started to snooze.
