Emberwood to what end

Hey! I hope you don't mind a wolf. Oh, and please don't hurt lunae yet. Not yet!!!

 Lunae stumbled through the woods. The autumn air was Lunae's favourite. She kept going but something seemed wrong. A scent, maybe? Not a wolf, they smelled different. Lunae suddenly became conscious of noise she made and began lightly treading on the cold ground. She felt better than before, a little more alive. Her ears twitched, the scar still slightly stinging. She slowly followed the faint scent. 
 Lunae didn't really notice the moon until now. Everything was lit by the silent moon. Yes, she knew about the moon, for that is what her mother had named her after. But as she stared into the dark void, small lights appeared. Small moons, maybe? They twinkled like dew in the morning. Her mother had never mentioned these magical lights. They twinkled but didn't move. Lunae looked back down to the cruel world and kept going. As she walked through the night, she silently wished to be among those magical lights.
