Moonspear is this what you dreamed, then?

Upon her verdict, gratitude radiated from the small family yet her undertone of tension just beneath the skin remained just as it had been. But, intently stoic, she accepted their thanks with a short tip of her snout. Willing herself to believe that it was unrelated and that this would be for the best, would just need time; they gave their best word, respect, pledged even further after thanking her, and in all, told her nothing ill or concerning. She still had her own handful of extra questions, but for now, this would do. She didn't want to press her own patience into finding greater issue here.

"You are welcome," she replied, knowing there was no need to drive her points further into the ground. They understood, and she had a good feeling they would come to understand in a few weeks why she was reserving a certain prickliness about it all, despite all of it that was for the better--how her pack needed the new blood.

So barring any further questions, she'd next go on to point the family towards some decent swatches of nearby mountainside to scope for a place to rest, and inevitably begin to settle in as she'd relay her findings to her mate. For now, she would let them have their privacy to mend in peace.
