Sungiwok did not think his brother would approve of this place, but it was not a bad place. The trees were lush, and it would likely make a good secondary hunting ground for the Tartok and Anneriwok wolves, should they decide to settle upon the mountain. His brother had not given a yes or a no on the mountain yet (so far as he had heard), so Malrok did not halt his exploration for their home. Still, it would not hurt to explore the lands that surrounded a potential home. The mountain would be only one aspect, should they choose it, and Kaertok had always been a wanderer at heart.
There was plenty of prey here, as was evidenced by the multitudes of deer trails criss-crossing the forest. Not just that, but the smell of deer droppings was strong. Yes, this would make for good hunting grounds if they settled anywhere nearby.
