Broken Boulder The Bright Lightssss

Like most nights, Kavik had preferred to be outside rather than in his den. Sometimes he would walk the borders, making sure nothing seemed out of place; other nights, he simply sat and looked at the stars. He had always felt more comfortable under the stars and moon than under the bright light of the sun.

Tonight, he padded through the soft grass looking for a good place to stargaze. He had a certain someone on his mind and was in need of a quiet place to be alone with his thoughts. Not too long into his search, he came upon an unfamiliar she wolf. Her scent was familiar only because he had noticed it around the territory. 

As he approached her, he chuffed to announce his presence and offered her a quick nod of greeting, pausing a small distance from her.
