Blacktail Deer Plateau chicken noodle soup

Rue hadn't realized how good it would feel just having the words out there... having someone who knew about her intrusive memories and was understanding. 

"I've never spoken to anyone about it," Rue admitted, hesitant to continue confessing to someone she just met. "My parents knew some of it, but they didn't understand."  

Elixer spoke of her own haunting memories and Rue's tilted her head, curious and sympathetic. "You do? For you, is it like he's actua-- I mean, like.. people are actually there? Like there's real danger?" Rue's ears flattened in embarassment. Wolves who saw and heard things that weren't there were crazy, weren't they? Is that what Elixir would think of her?
