Phoenix Maplewood oh she dreams

A fleeting shadow led to a desperate search. She thought she saw him, the familiar silvers of a purple hue, and the calcuating white eyes that gave an unknown coldness to her. She felt he was a stranger, but Desdemona was desperate to catch a glimpse, a voice, or even a rumor of him. She so desired to see this long lost brother, whome disappeared during the night many seasons ago.. She thought she saw is ghost, and without hesitation, went after it. A long journey through the winter, there was no doubts or worries to what she did, because the dame thought she would be back. Or would she? Her jades focused head on, unclear on her actions would have caused, for she was desperate. Desperate to say sorry to him.

But she didn't. The shadow she thought she spotted never came to be, as her blood brother was never to be seen. A trick of the light? A hallucination? Desdemona wasn't sure, but she felt empty as she gained nothing through this. So, she headed back through the ice and snow, a sorrow hung on her shoulders as she walked back to the forest. Yet, she smelled no one, and could hear no one. She was unaware that they had moved to another pack, and the lass only searched through the forest with a bitterness. Morningside was no more. 

There was no one. There was only her, alone again, loyalty faltering to the abyss.
