For the arc: "Culture Clash"

The rain wasn't so bad; refreshing at first, actually, until it go heavier as the night swept closer, and Ibis sought shelter as she roamed. We're going to ignore timelines for now because Java has had a very long day — but lets set this in the early evening. The stars would be out if the clouds weren't blocking the view, and as Ibis sauntered through the glen she was struck by how brilliant the stars looked within the limits of the trees. That didn't make sense - but after doing a double-take she realized they weren't stars at all, but some kind of bug. At first this made her queasy, but the girl was easily transfixed by the drifting little lights, and with the rain drumming softly against the boughs overhead, she settled in to watch the lights drift and dance in the shadows. Whatever fears Ibis would usually hold did not set themselves within her heart tonight; it was a magical moment, and she had spent so many hours exploring that she settled easily in to a daze as she observed them.
