She could have asked but was more enamoured by the concept of two long-lost-friends reconnecting. That appeared to be the purpose of her little collective; little by little Ibis had gathered lost souls, some who were siblings and many who were strange to one another, so knowing that Grezig was here because of Kavik of all people filled her with glee.
