Ibis stood there slack-jawed as Mal and the attractive wildling quarrelled, feeling some of that hormonal fire wane the longer she was subjected to the squabbling; it made her want to withdraw more and more, away from the both of them. It roused in Ibis a reminder of how Mal used to be - snarky, self-serving, bitter, and for a few moments she couldn't help but see him that way. Had time not changed him?

The woman departed. She called for someone as she fled, leaving a confused Ibis to sort out her thoughts and (potent) feelings. A glance to where the queenly shadow had sulked away - then towards Belharra's egress route - and finally an apologetic look to Mal.

Did I.. do that? I'm sorry if I did, but she was still reeling. Did she bring chaos everywhere?
