Swordfish recalled faded memories of their meeting. Frustration welled inside him, for he couldn’t make out details or depth. Everything was misty, clouded over by a heavy fog so that he could only see flashes. It gave him little to work with. It also left him feeling like there was something severely wrong with him.

How could he have lived in those moments and then forgotten them?

They’re alright? S-Safe?

The wavering in his voice forced his ears to flatten atop his head.

It didn’t get them? Breathless, tears pricked at the back of his eyes.
