Arrluk did his best to keep up, keeping to the back end of the doe, biting and pulling down at her flanks, hips and thighs while Alaric took bites again and again, wearing her energy with each spill of blood until he was able to seize her throat and the two large wolves brought her down to the ground. 

At this point now that she had fallen, Arrluk came to Alaric's side and while he held her throat, the yearling took the side of her neck. It was a tug of war, the thrill of the hunt and yet the need to end the suffering quickly for their prey. Two emotions fighting among themselves. 

Thank you... Stepping back, Arrluk laid down, head up and panting heavy but a smile on his face. They had done it!
