RIP
Changed my mind and for continuity’s sake I decided to have this be the way Ksura goes out <3 anything can be done with his body, would prefer he be buried with his stick XD no obligations.

Morwenna had come, two children had survived the debacle. The wolves of Winsook were intimidating, but welcoming as well. Aside from smelling like her mate, there was no fault he couldn’t find in Ayovi; she was was all grace and kindness, and had summoned an incredible strength to survive such a traumatic birth.

He brought an offering of mutton for the family.

He sought to kill again, but as he trotted down the slope he passed by a tree and as a pine needle fell past his cheek, he looked up- and he saw it.

A branch that needed to be turned into a stick.

He pranced, feeling his energy spike for the first time in a long time. He barked with each crouch as he prepared to leap up- and when he did, he launched himself several feet into the air and grabbed a hold of the branch.

He snarled and screamed, teeth sinking into the crispy pine bark, and began to swivel his hips so his teeth could saw through the wood. When his feet touched the tree trunk, he would brace himself for a moment so he could pull at the branch, until he heard it begin to crackle.

He did not notice the pain in his neck, as the scanned flesh began to pull ooen. The strip Dark Fang had torn from his jaw to his shoulder had healed closed, but tender proudflesh began to tear as he mindlessly windmilled his hindquarters. The vein that Dark Fang barely missed pumped blood to a brain that had relinquished its hold on the Malinois braincell. And just as the branch finally cracked and broke free from the tree, so too did the artery in Ksura’s neck.

He tried to rise once he’d come to the ground with the brand new stick, but felt all the heat and colour drain from his flesh as hot blood drained into the ground at his feet. He fell softly, the cushion of pine needles made for a fine deathbed, and even after the light faded from Ksura’s eyes, his jaws remained locked on the stick.
