@Lyric Redhawk @Valiant Wasn't sure if you had made up for Carolina yet <3 so grabbed one of your other wolves. @Killdeer @Towhee
Amalia woke up and she felt worse than she had in sometime. Her stomach rolled like it was the ocean itself. And pain radiated up from her hips to her shoulders and down again. She could barely move. She panted and shifted. Pain growing tighter and quicker each time.
It was not a good feeling. And Amalia was scared to death. She had never felt such rip roaring pain, as if she were being separated into two halves her own self. Her eyes watered and she wanted to scream. She wished so strongly for her mother or her brother, but none of them were here.
The only thing that seemed to help was pacing. And even that was only a temporary relief. Suddenly the pain radiated and she literally felt her muscles contracting. She lucky enough squatted it time. And yelped as the first child came into the world. Instinct prevailed now, though she did look for Towhee or Killer knowing they were near, but not where.
She pulled the tiny thing closer to her and licked it's face, it didn't seem to be breathing and she was panicking, but as soon as she swiped her tongue along it's nose and mouth, it let out a whimper and a breath and she felt her own heart slow. She was much lighter than Amalia had ever been or seen. Clearly taking after her father. She was so tiny. Amalia couldn't believe how small she was. But she settled to her side even though the pain ripped through her still and tucked the little girl into her underside.
Hello Carolina
She was swimming in a moment of bliss, the pain dissipating for a hot minute. Only to return sharper and harder. She didn't want to dislodge the little girl, but she was unsure what to do. She gently shifted and found the pain, caught on and chased it. And finally it was over and another little one was born. Amalia bent to pull this one forward. A little boy dark like she and her brother. Like Towhee. Hearty and Hale, but still so small. She couldn't get over hoe small they were. She was tight in the chest until he too took his first breath and it eased.
Hello Lyric. She whispered to her son. And then As she tucked him into her stomach, her vision grew blurry and she had to settle her head. It quickly passed. But gosh she felt so weak and tired.
Please let Killer, the pups and Towhee post first, then we will open it up for others.
