Moonspear witches brew

Too long, that I know... He breathes out into the cool air, stirring warmth around his face. In the dreary rain, they made it to one another and when he did so, he would nose at his niece's cheeks, nape and shoulders. Sniffing and inspecting. The hawk (hawk?) eyed him with utmost suspension. 

She looked to be doing well. Her eyes bright and clear. Her coat sooth and well off. Ah, she did just have a shower, didn't she! Arrluk shook out his own coat at the thought. And, come to think of it, he realized her oddly patterned coat of blonde, black and white... well, with the addition of a third color, it could be considered alike to his own. Maybe such an odd pattern he wore came from deep within their Sunshine roots that they now shared. 

It - It was hard there, for awhile, but things have been easier. Better. Last they had spoken, he had been fulfilling a brideprice. His parents had been alive. Yet there was already a showing of their people's diminishing with the falling of both Moonspear and Moontide. He had not realized how heavy a downfall things would continue to turn out. Did she even know about Mooonwoman and Sunman? Surely. Surely she would have heard the death songs. Tiuttuk did not want to speak of those bleak times. Nor did Arrluk. 

The pack was quite small for a bit. Ajei and I could barely leave the den, let alone the Spine. Pups really keep you on your toes. He says then with a cheeky grin. Being the last of his parent's litters, he hadn't quite got the experience of puppysitting younger siblings as practice.
