Heron Lake Plateau young, violent, half-mad

The risen voices dwindled behind her as she peeled away from the group, spooked more by the abrupt snapping of Towhee's loud voice and body  language than the rest of the chaos that she'd left behind. For someone so intent on being small, she wasn't actually as diminutive once she got moving; her strides were long and her body nimble and light, enabling her to fly across the plateau until she was out of earshot of the other wolves. When she finally stopped Camilla found herself surrounded by marshy earth and tall grass unblemished by snow, and collapsed in to it, her heart thundering inside of her.
