All Welcome

further and further he trekked until he felt that he had fulfilled his wanderlust for the day. with one glance over his shoulder, the dark-hooded savage peered back to where he knew the sound rested and breathed a heavy sigh into the winter air. the further that he extended himself, the longer it would take him to return home. illidan did not want to venture far, or for too long, with the threat of the cliff wolves looming over their heads. he knew that they could crawl down from their perch and into the sound without remorse; they would take what they wanted, just as they had before.

the more that the wildling thought about it, the more he felt it rile his spirit. so, he cast it from his mind and turned his attention to the river that branched out before him. on lean limbs, he moved toward it and stepped into the chilling grasp of the water until he had numbed the sensation of distrust from his body. only then did he peer down the coast toward the land that he had not yet explored. it seemed as though the seaside stretched forever and there was not enough of him to know it all.
