The rugged man was taken aback at the girl's nerve when she gave the silent command with but a flick of her tail, even more so when she felt daring enough to lounge so boldly in his line of sight. Were youngsters normally so gutsy these days? He couldn't remember and wouldn't be bothered enough to wonder too strongly anytime soon.

So for now he simply lingered, gaze never straying from her rawboned figure as she descended hell upon the timeworn bone. And as she gnawed the seasoned man asked himself what would come next after she grew tired of this little game and what he'd get in turn from this odd sort of encounter.
