Phex smiled at her Family. A Family inside a Family. She tucked in tighter around her pups and kissed both of their heads.
Bronwen, because she had a white breast and it was tradition in her family to name children after their looks first, then at 6 months, they'd be renamed because of their personality or keep the name.
She reached up and kissed Laroche affectionately. She felt his emotions in the air; pride and joy. She lapped some of the water he'd brought her and fell asleep. Happy she'd found her home.
