He stood where he was, an ivory statue, until Vengeance's gaze moved to Raleska. Something about that set Kaertok on edge, and he shifted his weight from one side to the other. And why was Raleska not taking what she was owed? This pack was hers by right, and from what he understood, Vercingetorix had come in, managed to "lose" Raleska's mother, taken over from Raleska's brother, and now expected the pack to be behind him. None of it made a lick of sense.

When Raleska asked how they could trust him, Kaertok spoke up. We can't. He focused on the usurper evenly, no malice or scorn in his voice, posture, or eyes. How can you expect to trust somebody who went off with Caiaphas, returned without her, then overthrew her son? If you really wanted to make your case, if you wanted us to believe you were innocent, then you would have let Illidan take the lead.
