MOOD for this post

The queen fae had recovered from her reckless emergency trip to the island of the mermaids - and it seemed everyone had returned unscathed in their attempt to rally their troops to defeat evil. She'd already written off peace as a solution; there was no way she'd bow to nor stand on the same level as the creature named Donovan. They were opposites, bound to not get along as their strings of fate intertwined and tangled in ways neither of them had probably expected. Opposites not like ying and yang, but more like night and day - one inherently good, other inherently bad - or so she thought. It was hard to wipe a first impression from the fae's memories, for she'd given everyone in her life a fair chance - then again, if fate decided a second chance was in order, she'd oblige... just not this time.

He and his followers, though the distinction was hard to make, had done too much evil to this realm to warrant forgiveness. Two had trespassed, one had fought her best warrior - and that was only the personal offenses she'd received. They'd settled in the mountains she crossed regularly, neighboring her closest ally, and had near-killed Dawn. They were arrogant, like her blood relatives, yet lacked the intelligence to realize that their actions had consequences and that, sooner rather than later, they could expect retaliation.

When she heard the call, something stirred deep inside her. Though it was but a howl, calling specifically for the faes, she knew who it belonged to. It was the same voice who'd rambled on and on the second time they'd met - the same voice that had mocked her when he had been found within their forest. If only they'd killed him then, everything could've been avoided. The pain and suffering - she could've avoided it all! To hell with second chances, the demons of the canyon would suffer at the hands of the fae folk in the name of this realm.

Her skunk-like tail was held high, wildflower gaze peering through the curtains of the willow branches. There seemed to be two, and the white dove seemed unfit to defend against a handful of faes... Was it a trap? She'd stay close to their border until reinforcements would arrive, giving her own call to specify who she needed at her side most - the rest should stay inside and hide should this meeting become an ambush. Of course her call rang for @Orlaith - then it went to @Fionn , @Aoibh and lastly @Caw should the strange raven wish to prove himself in a time where it mattered most. It was then she revealed herself, seeking to lock eyes with Donovan.

You are not welcome here. She called, voice booming and demanding - a tone befitting a queen. Leave now, while you still can — or suffer the wrath of the faes.
