To be elevated to leader status -- among Wylla and Mahler -- Stag was nowhere near their equal. How could he possibly be worthy? He felt a dark shade of imposter syndrome pull through him. For the briefest moment Stag's gaze lifted and searched Wylla's own, before pulling away in submission and worry.
