Night was her play ground, the darkness enveloped her keeping her mouth closed so not light glinted off the only part of her body with any color, her teeth stayed hidden. Her paw steps though quick were methodical and deliberate, light and soundless despite the leaves covering the autumn ground. She moved like a wraith though the newly defined territory, she was searching for something though only she knew what.   

The blacked female’s white blue eyes took note of everything as she slowed to a stop to peer between the trees there was a large animal not to far off. Her nares tasted the air thoroughly as she was down wind, not pack, not wolf, by process of elimination then it was prey. Even if it was wolf if it was not pack then it would still be prey, but that was a thought for a different time.

She needed to get a clear view while staying out of it’s line of sight or the sixth sense that most prey had when being stalked by a killer. She stilled her breathing so to not alert the being she stalked, not that she was close enough yet for it to even hear her breathing.

 Her teeth almost ached to rend flesh but she was not stupid, this was not something she alone could handle. Carefully she looked around there was her new home turf someone should be near by.
