Nimbus Summit Tikik

This is set for tomorrow (2/24). Lane and Tuuluuwaq are following up the rear and stopping in to check with some of the other packs along their way. Issorartuyok and those who traveled with him/ahead of him are welcome to post in response to this. I’m going to tag all of you just so that you have it on your radar! ^^ Welcome to our new home. Their journey was a long one. Across snow and mountains, through valleys and forests, the wolves had marched on toward the mountain in the distance and away from the glacier that they had once known to be home. Issorartuyok felt a peculiar sense of sadness in leaving the village. It had been the first place to accept him and to give him a chance to prove himself. But it was the people of their village that had given him those things, and he was grateful that he traveled with them.

Antha and Tessa had made for fine partners. The northerner was keen on keeping an eye on the others, though. He would stray ahead of them and sniff around for signs of Veteran and Heda. Worry filled his heart as he thought of the young ones. Issorartuyok could only hope that they were safe and that they had already found their way back to the summit.

Once they had crossed the last mountain range and had rested their eyes upon their intended claim, Issorartuyok breathed a sigh of relief.

It was not the glacier, but there was bountiful prey and there were no other wolves who would prove to be a threat to their people. The mountain was sound, looming and beautiful. The northerner could only admire it as they crossed to its base and stood upon the ground where it grew.

Issorartuyok drew his head back and howled to the others in the village.
