So that is what he wanted. For her to shut up. The entire interaction didn't sit right with her, but it didn't matter. The brute could snap her neck in an instant and Selena was sure it was not her time to join the pack of the dead.
As the wraith made his exit, she did not move from where she lay. She did not so much as stir until he vanished from view. I don't want to move wrong, too. The girl felt an unfamiliar voice hiss in the back of her mind, but quickly disregarded it and went about her day.
