Her muscles began to slacken as her mind fully registered that this was no ghost, that this wolf was safe, that he was her brother. Nyx had never been a believer of fate, but she felt more than certain that Dirge had come for her at just the right time. Gaze glassy, the fragile Ostrega made that final stride more confidently as she made to close what distance was left between them, thrusting her head beneath his own to bury her muzzle among the paler tresses of his throat.
