Her reaction was nothing less than Artaax expected. He was a large, intimidating wolf and he knew very well how to handle himself in a fight. Only complete morons wouldn't bow down and grovel before him. He was glad to see this creature was not one of the morons, in spite of her previous mistake of attempting to steal his prey. He was still in the mood for a fight, but not when there was a hunt to be had. He preferred this minor nuisance to be dealt with quickly so he could get on with it.

The feisripa's growl abated as he stalked towards the female, but nothing otherwise changed in his aggressive display. He stopped beside her and snapped lightly in the direction of her throat, though he kept his teeth well away from making any actual contact with her skin. His eyes narrowed deeper as he glanced at her, and that was enough to satisfy him. His posture relaxed as he began to walk away from her, continuing towards the lake and allowing his mind to forget about her almost entirely. There was simply no way she would pursue him or his prey after all of that, was there? Not in his head.
