All Welcome

"I didn't think that waking up this early would be so hard," Rannoch admitted with a yawn; he had proposed an early hunt to Deshyr to the previous night. "But, this is the best time to hunt," he added, turning to his daughter, his confidence faltering as he considered his previous statement, "Or, at least, that's what I heard." There was only one way to assess the validity of the information.

Gentle brush strokes of salmon swept from the horizon, the first indications of the day making themselves evident. He moved stiffly, navigating them both towards the outer reaches of the territory, where he had often found prey. "How has the hunting been, Desh?" Rannoch wondered; it had been some time since he had last heard her report. "All good?"
a crime so old as the sky and bone
he came untied, solid as a stone
all is almost lost and it starts to show
