He had growled and pawed at the ground, kicking up dirt in his frustration and muttering incoherently as he chased after her his jaws parted to lunge. He spotted her stepping out to attack him and began to make his attempt, leaning forward and watching her trip. He shouted with exasperation and awkwardly pulled back before he was too close, his attack once again foiled by sheer clumsiness and lack of experience on both their parts. He panted softly and his ears tilted backwards as he eyed her dubiously, unsure that this was even worth it at this point but reluctant to end it quite yet.
