Lost Creek Hollow crows remember human faces

terance gave a snort of a laugh to acknowledge the comment. i lived through two, i'll live through another, he commented with a wave of his tail, thinking quite unfondly back to the locust infestation that drove his family from the wilds. and then to the famine on the mountain that drove seabreeze away from him, kids and all. and now this one -- which so far had just brought some lung problems. hopefully, this too would pass. 

he gave a few wavering shrugs, head dipping from side to side as he pondered whether telling this guy about the state of the pack was a good or bad idea. there are some stragglers, he said with a click of his tongue, few and far between but arbiter came across one recently. it's mostly small prey for now. floods have brought fish, too. though not much, and terance wasn't a huge fan of water.
