All Welcome
Even the garden of Eden couldn't keep the traveler off his feet. After speaking to the woman and spending a few hours wandering around, he retraced his steps and slipped away from the little wonderland. Cedars towered above him now, their branches covered in a thin layer of snow. Occasionally some would fall onto him as he passed.

So beautiful.., he said beneath hushed breath. There was something so dazzling about fresh static snow. Elliot stopped in his tracks to admire it.

For once, maybe for the first time since he'd come back to the Teekon Wilds, he encountered a wolf that was not swathed in black. This one was a silver with splashes of dark tan thrown in here and there. No mistaking this wolf for Raleska, but that didn't mean Kaertok was any less likely to ask him for information. The stranger was stopped, apparently looking at something, but Kaertok only saw the trees and the snow. Nothing spectacular there.

The Tartok approached from the side, certain that the crunch crunch crunch of his feet would have given him away long before he was in sight. Hello, I am looking for a wolf named Raleska, who used to be part of Rusalka. Do either of those names ring a bell for you? he asked. Relying on the knowledge of strangers was just part of his day-to-day lately.

If it were not for the sound of heavy footfall, Elliot would not have bat an eye. After all, the stranger dissolved quite well with the surroundings. But he had heard them of course, and the very blunt introduction that came with it.

And hello to you too, he quipped with a little smile. He was in such a rush! And for what? Maybe it was best to act. No sir, I'm afraid they don't. Why do you seek for this wolf?

Explaining his relationship to Raleska was not an easy task, and certainly not something he would be doing with a stranger. She is a friend, he replied. It wasn't untrue, but it wasn't the entire truth. Kaertok just wasn't the type to pour his heart out to a stranger. Besides, it did not appear this wolf would be able to further his search for his aokkatti.

With nothing to gain from the conversation, Kaertok began to turn away, to continue on his mission to find any lead he could on the whereabouts of Raleska or Rusalka.

Feel free to stop him if you want to continue!
