He listened to her movements, assuming she was still stifting about uncomfortably, trying to get the pain to go away. He didnt know she had opened her eyes, to lift her head and look at him with concern. When she spoke if he was okay, his eyes remained shut, his face still buried in his own furs. I will be. It wasnt like this was the first or the last time he had suffered through the light. It was for the good of this woman, Uriel's friend and a potential member. Besides, since when did Hemlocke ever care about his own wellbeing over anothers? Never. He'd never been worthy it and if he wasnt going to suffer in hell for the rest of eternity,  he was determined to prove he could be of good to this world. Self-sacrifice was definitely part of it.

'Let's go now.' His eyes opened and through the long black furs of his tail, he saw her lift up, only to collapse to the ground. By the time she made her second attempt, he was at her side. He shakes his head, but lightly, to Uriel's apology. She had nothing to be sorry for. My suffer isnt unwarranted. Their companion needed support and so, he was here. Moving to stand at Holly's other side, he pressed close, hoping to help her stand as Uriel was on her other side. As a trio, they could move into a thicker portion of the forestry he had found settlement.

A very rocky, slow trek towards the location, Hemlocke did it with his eyes narrowed and urged Holly to do the same if not closed entirely, to trust her partners, to use her other senses... Soon they came to the hollow, still smelling faintly if coyote whom once lived here, a family likely, as it was room for enough of them but really only a pair of wolves comfortably side-by-side. Until now, Hemlocke hadn't a need for much space other then himself. He would have to think about the future for the sanctuary as a whole, now wouldn't he?

Here. He grumbled, willing Holly to move inside to which then he would follow and finally, finally out of the light of day. If he knew himself any, he would fight this mirgraine off the rest of the day well into the night. He assured himself though, it had been worth it.
hello Darkness,
my old friend.
