In spite of the offer made to both, the one still chose to take her leave; although disappointed that they might not be able to return the favour, he respected her choice. The other followed after her, too, and Aningan wondered how far along with her Stryx might walk before returning to the Rusalkan wolves—not that his mind lingered on this for long, attention pulled elsewhere as Raleska spoke.
Aningan looked to the children with her and then the young mother herself before his gaze slipped over to Erzulie and Rosalyn. This was not a matter he felt he could weigh in on, the task of raising children so young one that he was not anatomically capable of. And so he kept quiet for now, awaiting the verbal decision.
Characters are more than welcome to mistake Aningan for a polar bear.
