Oystercatcher Tide Pools Seasons change

The lapping of the waves by the tidepools was quieter, or it felt that way to the haggard young figure who was seated on the edge of the sand. Hawkish yellow eyes watched the coming and going of the water against the shore for a considerable time. It moved slowly, but this did not take away from the vastness of it. Every so often, the ghost would turn his sights toward the distant edges of the earth – where the sea seemed to disappear into the sky – and would wonder if there was something beyond what he could see with his own eyes.
 
A figure was spotted in the wash, paddling toward the shore with a bobbing head. Illidan followed the movements with a thoughtful crease to his brow. The haunted expression on the young creature’s face did not shift much when the wolf emerged from the water and shook his coat free of the droplets. The ghost drew his crown upward and regarded the other with a sad expression, saying nothing.
