All Welcome
Lately, the nights were notably long, and dark. Even the moon was only a sliver. It was colder than before, too, making winter utterly unmistakable.

Naturally, with everything going on to concern himself with, Antares had spent a lot of his recent time on the move--usually ranging either at the Glen's edges, or beyond it into the Wilderness. It all kept him busy, which he was fine with. If anything, it was the winding down aspects of his days that he was having more issue getting into the groove of, not all the hours he could spend busied. Worsening, recently, to the point of him noticing an extra fatigue when his rest just felt so terribly fleeting.

But today, he cruised through it. The night was roamed away, well into the morning hours. By then, he had returned to the Glen, and as afternoon warmed the day (as much as December skies were going to, anyway), he worked his way towards their heart--first, across the Ostrega Foothills at an easy meander, enjoying the sun on his shoulders.

It was a little unusual for him to be out in the open at the height of the day, let alone not trying to get into anything, or otherwise occupied. He was determined to keep it easy, though, but when he found a big slab of rock he liked, he made it a seat for himself after a leap and some sniffs. Of course, given the vast views at his disposal, that swiftly turned it to a lookout point as he sighed, and skimmed the area before he could try to settle in and forcibly still his paws.

Quiet, peaceful. A trio of birds winged off in the distance. There were hardly any clouds. But his mind whirred, anxious, in all directions as it manifested in prickles down his neck still; why? What was he waiting for?

Snatching this since I don't think they've met yet? XD

It was always a mystery to the raven why winter of all seasons messed with her mood the most, though this year's winter felt particularly dreary for some reason. Maybe it was because it was the first spent without family -- Her siblings, parents, tribe members; there was never a snowy season missed without a celebratory hunt to stock up on caches. A time of gathering to prepare for the next year -- would there be something similar to that in the glen? Did the Moonspearians have any family traditions of their own?

Speaking of family, Luna still didn't have a clue in hell where her brother could've gone -- and while she didn't want to come to terms with the fact that he'd really left this time, the dame's searches always led to a dead-end. Luna let out an exhausted sigh at the thought of not finding Solarus a safe place to stay during the winter, and wondering if he was even safe right now. If he ever did appear again, however, she was definitely going to beat him up for making her worry so much right now...

It was normal for Luna to be wandering around the glen when she had nothing else to do, so that's exactly what Luna did. She contemplated on whether she should search for the little hunting trio again (Toad, Charles and Bronco), or if she should go harass Holland again -- but today, she chose to go towards the heart of the glen herself.....or so it seemed...

It looked like someone beat the Ebony woman to it; another ebony pelted individual that rested on a nearby rock. The only thing she could see was their back, and Luna couldn't really tell if it was Atlas or someone else. So, the girl slowly slunk her lithe frame around the rocky structure to face them, chuffing a few seconds beforehand so she didn't scare them (even though that would be kinda funny).

Bright teal orbs flashed open in surprise at the sight of deep oceanic ones. For a second, Lunaria thought it was Hydra at first, and that nearly made her heart leap out of her chest  -- but no. This was definitely a male.......oh wait a second. "Ah! Your Ant.....ares!" she exclaimed after a few seconds, pausing mid-sentence in order to not mess up his name. The last time she'd seen the Beta was during the turkey hunt, but they never really met individually...

It felt superficial at first, but he could try to soothe himself with the view. Taking it in, breathing deep, and outwardly, nothing here should rankle him, so with this he tried to enjoy this comfort instead of fixate on what he only thought was unseen. It was peaceful, and it was home. He told himself over and over again that he needed to unwind, rest.. whatever...

His ears perked, though, to the prospect of a different distraction. When he noticed her slinking up, he pivoted slightly, watching her awfully carefully for someone trying to chill out. Mhm, he confirmed slowly with the nod that followed, and supposed he really didn't know that much about her either now that he really thought about it, and faced her one-on-one. If his memory served correctly, she had come when they were searching for Mira? Maybe just after. Either way, he knew Osiris knew her better, and that she had seemed to fit in nicely among the others just around the pack and at their gatherings, so.. he measured the exhale, trying to settle his prickles that had nothing to do with her. You're Lunaria, right? he hoped, aiming for casual as he glanced her lean countenance over--trying not to linger on the scar crossing her chest, but he was certainly curious. Maybe soon. Something have you out here? he asked first to keep some attention off him.
