All Welcome
The lands were not so strange to him now. He had found the home he'd been looking for... at least, if they proved to be all he'd hoped for. Though, by the Grandmaster's presentation, few doubts ran by his thoughts.

Now woken after a short nap in the den he was shown, he set off to do as Nyra had suggested and study this territory carefully, perhaps to later run into some of those he would would call his packmates from now on unto the future. Until that time came, he would simply do what he knew how. Patrol. Protect. The Grandmaster had not specifically designated him a task, but knowing that the Saints were amidst war, the canyon was likely to be paraded by outsiders and rival pack wolves. He would do as he promised and be one of the Saints. To do that, he would have to defend them as if they were of his own blood.

----

The canyon was grand in size and difficult to travel quickly for the average. Xynos didn't consider himself average, but he didn't gloat about it. Taking heavy strides, per usual, he covered the ground at an impressive pace. A dark pink tongue lolled from the man's jaw, swinging from side to side. Nostrils flared and ears pointed, no sense was left unused. If any job, he did it well. His movements now made that evidently clear.

It was fun, almost. Having a different purpose that focused on something more than himself was less of a bore. Now he could truly hold pride in his life, being more than just some scroungy mutt searching for scraps of food and a place to sleep. No longer would he be alone.

The air was full of strange scents.

Like this one. A very dark male that seemed to be patrolling their border. War watched him with interest from afar. She took notice to him and began coming closer from the side. She kept sniffing the air, waiting for some scent that would indicate that he indeed belonged. When she came close enough she finally found it. Nyra's scent was on him. So he was probably recruited by her too. Good.

She walked toward him in calm steps. Running was not her specialty, fighting was. She had silver cold eyes as she watched him and expecting him to slow down and stop to talk to her. She came closer until they were in talking distance. War was coming to the pack, they had to recruit many new members to make sure they could hold their ground.

"War." She offered her name, politely as one should.

"Spar?" This was her one and only formal arrangement. She asked pretty much everyone around here to spar with her, to keep her skills sharp and tight, it never occurred to her that people might not want to spar her all the time, but she was oblivious to these details. She was preparing for the upcoming wars.

Though she might have formed it into a question, she prepared her stance. No was not an option.
