All Welcome
Paeon had been on the hunt to fill her garden. Currently just a dug-up section of a flower patch. The goal would be to fill it with useful herbs and plants so that the pack could more easily access fresh plants. A cache with dried plants was nice to have but required constant maintenance and replacement. Planted in the ground, apart from the changing seasons and nibbling critters, the earth did most of the work for you.

Passing from one place to another she didn't expect much from the mountain itself. That is until she caught a glimpse of color in the corner of her eye. After further investigation, she found the opening to a large cavern filled with flora. "JACKPOT" she cheered.

River had detected the scents of at least two packs in the vicinity, and it was toward one of these that she traveled. The last few weeks constituted her experience with long-distance travel, but she thought by the strength of the scent she followed that she was still a few days out from her destination.

The mountains along the snake river where she had been born had always provided for her. They had given her food, shelter, and water. This mountain proved to be no different. She had discovered a cavern thick with plant life, a nook in the mountain so beautiful that she had decided to stay a couple of days  so she could rest and regain some strength.

She was sleeping soundly when a voice cried out and woke her. Cobalt eyes opened and she blinked rapidly, dazed. She did not know what had awakened her. River got to her feet and slid toward the mouth of the cavern, and soon crossed paths with another she-wolf, small like she was, though much more muscular.

"H-hello," she stammered softly, fear gripping her.

Standing out from the green, black, and brown of the vegetated cave was white. Slithering out from deep within the cave like a sheepish snake. And it said hello. "Hey there" Paeon replied with only slightly less enthusiasm as before.

Another small wolf, but far more petite and light. Close to opposites ignoring their similar size. "Your nose is wicked pink" Paeon observed... aloud. She continued her walk into the cave to get a closer look at the girl.
