There was nothing familiar about this place. The thin darkling girl paced haltingly along the space just beyond the pack's claim, desperation warring with fear. They would see her and they would know, she felt, but what other choice did she have? She was starving.

She favored one foreleg leg heavily, and eventually the pain of even walking this way forced her to a halt. It was healing, but slowly and oddly; she could not remember how long it had been now since it was broken. Long enough that she knew there was no other option. Thalassa howled for the pack she knew lurked just ahead.

Iseul was no lurking shadow in the isle. The waterways belonged to the children and to herself until they grew of age to claim them. And despite the slight concerns she felt within the isle, it did not stop Iseul from completing her daily tasks. The tiger walked with a slight shimmer of confidence when she was within the land of her claim. And there was no hiding her lumbering figure.

A call brings her to the edge where she can see something of a fable on the other side. The howl alone carried a message that perhaps not all was right and so she comes with haste.

“Who is here?” She comes to ask to the shadowy woman, curiosity laced in her peridot gaze.
Iseul is still learning English and will frequently pause to find the right word. This often occurs with an audible 'uh' or 'ah' sound, as well as speaking a bit slower to try and avoid mistakes. Your character is welcome to notice this!
