he still slept upon eira's skins, though he hadn't seen her in some days. they warmed him enough to slumber without much fuss—but his physical comfort did not permeate the land of his dreams—
in fits and starts did they come, flashing irregular, without form.
this day was different, though. he slept without dreaming, and woke as if he hadn't slept at all. but hours had passed; he'd fallen asleep in midday and now night was here, the darkness all around him like a blanket.
aditya didn't rise just yet, instead blinking lazily, stretching his jaws wide in a yawn. to not dream at all was odd, for him—and yet he found comfort in it.
